UNI Air Filter 2" opening
Black Inner/Red Outer sleeve with 2" opening. 4" length
Air filters MUST be oiled to work properly! Be sure to get UNI Foam Filter Oil and Cleaner.
Performance air intakes such as the UNI filters from Buggy Parts NW replace the restrictive stock air intake boxes on your go-kart or scooter and allow more air into your carburetor.
More airflow = more power!
Note: This air filter MUST be oiled with foam filter oil and cleaned regularly. A properly oiled filter prevents dust particles and debris from getting into the carburetor and your engine. This is essential for proper operation and engine longevity. You WILL eventually destroy your engine if this filter is not oiled with the proper product.

This UNI 2" filter will attach directly to the air intake side of a stock 250cc carburetor, as well as our performance 30 and 32mm carbs. This is also the correct filter to use with our GY6 Velocity Stack. It will not attach directly to the stock 24mm carb on a GY6 150cc motor. Please see the 1.5" UNI filter product for this application.
When adding this modification, you will also need to rejet your carburetor to re-balance the fuel/air mixture due to the increased airflow.
What size jet you need to upgrade to will depend on the local elevation and the season (outside temperature) that you will be riding in.
Generally speaking, with just a UNI filter upgrade, you'll need a jet somewhere between 120 and 130. If upgrading the air intake and exhaust, you'll need between 125 and 140 and possibly larger depending on your carburetor, exhaust, and riding location. Feel free to call Buggy Parts NW if you have questions.
To Install: Simply unbolt and remove your stock air intake box from your carburetor and attach the UNI air filter directly to your carburetor. Due to space limitations on your buggy, 150cc buggy owners may require the use of a velocity stack, or "redneck intake", which consists of a tube that is attached to the carburetor with the UNI at the end.
