This BPNW CVT performance Level 3 package comes with a Dr Pulley HIT Clutch, Dr Pulley variator, fan plate, center dowel pin, Dr. Pulley sliders, and yellow or red main clutch spring.
What makes the Dr Pulley HiT (High-Thrust) Clutch so special and worth the extra cost?
The Dr Pulley HiT clutch has high-quality clutch pad material running the length of the clutch arms for maximum surface area engagement with the clutch bell. The stock clutches often only have a small patch of soft clutch pad material in the center of the clutch arms.
Additionally, the HiT clutch has a secondary mechanism that engages when your engine reaches a certain RPM (tunable with the included multiple sets of "pillow" springs). This secondary mechanism locks the clutch arms in place against the clutch bell minimzing clutch slippage when under load!
The result? Solid clutch engagement at all times, particularly when accelerating and climbing.
This clutch is designed to be tuned to your vehicle and comes with at least six sets of springs for all your tuning needs.
Dr Pulley Variator:
This racing variator from Dr Pulley is precision engineered to increase performance over stock variators. The steep angled ramp plates in the Dr Pulley variators allow for faster and smoother engagement at all speeds, and allow lighter weighted sliders to fully extend to make the most of your CVT system. Longer channels create a more aggressive acceleration profile compared to stock variators.
Note: for most vehicles we do not recommend installing the spacer washers that come with the Dr Pulley variator as it can result in a loss of top speed.

Buggy Owners: Most popular choices (and why!)
- 9g: For those who want maximum low end power for climbing and acceleration and do not care about top speed. Works best with the stock or yellow main spring. Aftermarket CDI encouraged to allow for more RPMs.
- 10g: For those with a decent amount of hills to climb or want much better low end power without sacrificing significant top speed. Works best with the yellow main spring. Aftermarket CDI a good idea.
- 11g: Great all-around weight for a mix of hills and flat trail riding. Works best with the yellow main spring. Aftermarket CDI worth considering.
- 12g: For mostly flat ground trail riding with occasional hills. Some low end gain, excellet top speed retention. Works best with the yellow or red main spring. Aftermarket CDI worth considering.
Scooter Owners: Most popular choices (and why!)
- 11g: Great all-around weight for a mix of hills and flat road riding. Our most popular weight for scooter owners. Works best with the stock main spring. Aftermarket CDI worth considering.
- 12g: For mostly flat ground riding with occasional hills. Some low end gain, excellet top speed retention. Works best with the stock or yellow main spring. Aftermarket CDI worth considering.
- 13g: Great weight for commuting and those who spend a lot of time at cruising speeds. Slightly better low end compared to stock weights. Possible top speed gain and lowered top speed RPMs. Works best with the stock or yellow main spring. Aftermarket CDI worth considering.
Note: Using Slider weights that are at the lower end of the weight scale can be too light to overcome the main torque spring tension (expecially wih the stronger performance main torque springs) before hitting the RPM limiter in the stock CDI (spark ignition unit). This can result in less top speed. You can typically get around this using a performance CDI unti with a higher RPM ceiling.
